diesel engine which has recorded 2343 hours.From the stern,
steps lead to a portholed rear cabin/wet locker/storage area
housing the Alde central heating boiler and Sterling 1800w inverter.
Forward through a door, via more steps, to a 5’ utility/storage
area. leading through another door to the walk through bedroom
featuring a large robe, over bed storage and radiator. The original
fixed double has been replaced with a 6’8’’
free standing bed. A short corridor with radiator,leads to the
laminate lined bathroom with hip bath and shower over, basin
in vanity unit and Thetford cassette toilet. Forward, past a
utility cupboard housing a washing machine, to the compact,
walk through galley with cream painted under counter units,
glazed double sided display unit, Vanette four burner hob/grill/oven
and fridge. Side doors fitted to port side.Forward to the carpeted
lounge with two seat settee, multi fuel stove in the starboard
corner and large t.v./storage unit opposite.Half glazed, hardwood

Description: Built using a Liverpool shell and fitted out
by Wedgwood Narrowboats in 2006. The interior consists of light
oak in what is considered a standard layout of foredeck with
glazed cratch and cover leaving a good view forward and giving
a feeling of space. Half-glazed double doors lead into the living
area where there is a TV cabinet, a solid fuel stove in a tiled
surround and two leather easy chairs. The walk through galley
is fitted with a good range of storage units and drawers which
add to the quality feel as they are finished in solid wood.
The shower room is finished with black tiles to the shower area,
a ceramic hand basin is set above open shelving and the WC is
a pump out unit from Vetus. Aft, is a fixed double berth with
under bed storage and overhead cupboards. To give easy access
to the boat from the stern, the engine covers from central steps
to the rear doors with a seat to one side and storage cupboards
and Alde gas central heating boiler to the other. Halogen 12v
down lighters complimented with wall lights in the living area
and reading lights in the aft cabin give excellent overall artificial
lighting.
A lovely quality vessel in great condition which is ready
to go.

Description: Crannog is a beautiful craft & a credit to
the current owner. 57’ Trad Josher style narrowboat which
was built in 2007 using a Tim Tyler hull and a Mike Christian
fit-out. Porthole windows, with steel hatches on either side
closing over solid oak-framed glazed opening windows. Fitted
out as a live aboard with Belvoir woodwork, solid wooden floor
and oak side panels throughout. The large open plan saloon houses
a very special raised pullman dinette which easily converts
into lounge furniture or a double bed, and is upholstered in
‘severe contract’ quality fabric by an ex Rolls-Royce
fitter. Separating the saloon & galley is a ¾ width
chest-height large oak cupboard. Italian designed round ceramic
sink & drainer with Aquith swan-necked mixer tap are fitted
in a black granite-style U shaped worktop over generous cupboards.
On the starboard side of the galley another oak cupboard/emergency
stair under the inner glazed steel door side hatch. Full size
cooker, fridge/freezer and an open oak-shelved cupboard above
the worktop on the bulkhead wall complete the galley furniture.
A solid oak door leads from the galley to the bathroom which
houses a full size shower, large ceramic basin/unit and Thetford
cassette toilet. In the aft bedroom is a fixed 6’6’’
by 4’ bed with custom made orthopaedic mattress, there
is ample storage with large under bed drawers, wardrobe and
three drawer chest with granite top. Heating is provided by
a Hunter solid fuel stove which is fitted in a feature terracotta
tile surround and the Webasto central heating which powers the
various radiators throughout the boat. Inventory also includes
a 3.5 Travel power generator, 1600w Phoenix Multiplus inverter/charger,
galvanic isolator, Shoreline hookup, Large hospital silencer
& stainless steel water tank.

Length: 70 feet
Description: Built by W.J.Yarwood & Sons of Northwich
for the Fellows, Morton and Clayton fleet. Fern was originally
built of steel composite construction with steel sides, an elm
bottom and fitted with a Bollinger 15hp engine. She only remained
in the fleet for a couple of years before the company was nationalized,
at which stage she was passed into the British Waterways Fleet.
Restored in 2001 with a new 10mm base plate, Lister HA2 engine
and steel cabin conversion to allow for extra accommodation.
Fern spent some time at Ellesmere Boat museum before being purchased
by the current owner in 2000. She is now situated in Llangollen
and used as a liveaboard. Layout offers a forward bedroom, central
living area, utility room with washing machine, fridge &
freezer, bathroom with sink, & bath with over shower, engine
room and rear boatman’s cabin (requires completion).
Only rarely does an opportunity arise to purchase such a special
historic vessel.

a marina engineer, Kerrylee boasts many clever and innovative
design ideas from low power consumption lights to under floor
coolbox. From the 3ft trad stern through a 4ft 6in portholed
cockpit with large hatch running on rollers via a side door
and three steps down to the 9ft aft bedroom with fixed double,
end of bed, full size wardrobe with shelf, under bed drawer,
excellent over bed storage cupboards and LCD TV. Forward to
the walk through 6ft 6in bathroom with macerating pump out wc,

starboard corner mounted multi-fuel stove on attractive tiled,
curved hearth and adjacent, centre, curved storage steps flowing
round to the large portside, curved tv corner unit which, like
the hearth, has floor level, inset, LED lights. Fitted mirrors
above the corner units give the impression of spaciousness.
Two burgundy leather swivel/recline armchairs and footstools
provide the comfortable seating, behind which are two discreet
bookshelves. Forward, via the steps and glazed, hardwood front
doors to the 5ft well deck with front locker/bench giving excellent access to the
bow thruster and its battery, The front, hardwood, cratch panel
is outward hinged and the cover has zipped panels. Steel barley
twist hand rails and gas locker handle are further evidence
that this is no ordinary boat. Finished in oak faced panels
throughout except under gunwhale which are vertical t&g
oak planks. A Mastervolt 2kw inverter/charger and battery watch
system compliment the 240v shoreline connection and Webasto
central heating is installed. The paintwork, By Andy Russell,
is in excellent condition and the craft was blacked in June
this year. This actual boat was favorably reviewed by Canal
Boat ( November 2007) and a copy is available in the office
for viewing.

Description: Built in June 1992 by Delph Marine, Lily B combines
a pleasant blend of old and new styles, the recessed panels
with scumble detail complimenting the portholes of the trad
aft section and contrasting with the light and airy interior
of the forward saloon. She is fitted with a Leyland Commander
2.2 diesel engine requiring attention. From the stern, the portholed
rear cabin housing the control equipment leads, via side positioned
steps, to the aft portholed bedroom with fixed double, comprehensive
over / under bed storage and roof mounted pigeon box for extra
natural light and ventilation. Forward to the bathroom finished
in ‘tile effect’ vinyl wall covering with hip bath/shower
over, basin in unit and Thetford cassette toilet. Forward to
the Pullman dinette with window, rare in a 54’ craft,
converting to an extra double bed and providing useful extra
storage. Forward to the U shaped galley with side hatch opposite.
Fitted with Paloma gas water heater, recent LEC fridge, Vanette
5000 stove and LG microwave. Units, stove, worktop and tiled
splash back are all finished in light, neutral shades to pleasing
effect. Forward to the carpeted lounge area with diagonal pine
t&g below the gunwhale and lighter wood framed panels to
the upper cabin sides finished in vinyl wall covering to the
inner panels. Unusual and perhaps not to everyone’s taste
but very effective in creating a warm and cozy feel to this
craft. A Morso Squirrel stove with back boiler for hot water
and heating is installed in a very attractive tiled surround
to the starboard corner with a TV corner unit opposite. Two
beige swivel and reclining chairs provide relaxation. Hardwood
¾ glazed doors with adjacent glazed panels lead, via
steps with integral storage, to the foredeck. Hot water is also
provided by the calorifier when the engine is running. The inverter
and shoreline connection provide for 240v supply. The BSC is
valid until March 2011 and the hull has been reblacked here
at Swanley in March 2010. Last, but not least, there are two
helmsman’s seats fitted to the stern. It is now out of
the water and located on our hardstanding viewing area. Survey
report dated August 1998 is available for inspection.
Reduced in August 2010 for a quick sale
on a sold as seen basis! Attention is required to the engine,
the seal between the engine and gearbox has gone.

Description: Built in 2006 by Midway Boats on a Price Fallows
of Shrewsbury semi-trad shell, Morialta Is fitted with an Isuzu
35 hp diesel engine incorporating a ‘hospital’ silencer
for peaceful cruising. It has recorded just 918 hrs of running
time and has been serviced annually. The interior is finished
throughout with ash panels and hard wood trims to a standard
which will exceed most expectations. The standard layout offers
aft bedroom with robe and over/under bed storage, followed by
a good sized bathroom with hip bath/shower over, basin in large
vanity unit with storage and cassette w.c. with spare. The U-shaped
galley has the usual equipment and a useful, slim, cupboard
opposite. The fold down breakfast bar is a most useful feature.
The open saloon area has free standing chairs with footstools,
radio/t.v. and, of course, the multi fuel stove. The craft also
benefits from Webasto oil fired central heating, a 1600w inverter

and rear covers provide for all weather cruising. The whole
vessel is very well presented and viewing is strongly recommended.

semi-trad when it is fitted out by a clever, skilled craftsman.
Completed as a 4 berth craft on a quality Reeves shell in 2002
by Mike Walker (Oxford) Narrow Boats who owned it for some 18
mths before selling to the current vendor, she is powered by
a Beta 1505 diesel engine through a PRM 120 gearbox and fitted
with twin alternators and exhaust silencer. From the 7’7’’
semi trad stern with padded top lockers, steps lead, via storage
steps, to the 11’6’’ aft bedroom boasting
an en-suite bathroom with electric flush cassette toilet and
basin in corner vanity unit The cross double bed is complimented
by an array of storage facilities both above and below the bed.
Forward to the 5’6’’ x 4’ tiled shower
room with cassette toilet and basin. Forward past the 5’10’’
Pullman dinette converting to another double bed with plenty

adjacent to the front steps leading via the glazed front doors

canal, being purpose built in 2006 by Maestermyn using a quality

with scumbling along with painted roses and castles. A light
painted deck head completes the effect. Delightful! Forward,

Alde central heating boiler. Forward again, via a door, to the
bathroom, hygenically finished in white easy
to clean laminate and housing a shower, basin in vanity unit

galley with fitted units to port side and side hatch opposite.
Equipment includes a New World burner hob/oven/grill, LEC fridge
and s.s.sink unit. Forward to the 22’observation lounge
with large panoramic windows and raised viewing/dining/seating

rear doors lead, via two storage steps with adjacent cupboards
and control panel, to a compact portside bathroom with shower,
porta potti and Morso gas water heater then into the 6ft 6in
walk through galley incorporating a raised two person Pullman
dinette converting to a single berth and with useful storage
below comprising three drawers and two cupboards. A Valor oven/grill/hob
is fitted along with a small Igloo fridge and a clever ‘pull
out’ larder unit. Stainless steel sink unit/drainer. Foreword

boatfitters on a Canalmaster shell, Dinky is fitted with a Vetus
4.15 diesel engine and Vetus bow thruster for easy maneuvering.
The cruiser stern is fitted with a rear guard rail incorporating
bench seats and is protected by a pram hood cover with plastic
‘glazed’ front/rear windows and zip out side panels.
It leads, via a side steel door and steps to the 8’6’’
portholed aft cabin fitted with single bunk beds, a further
single bed and a radiator. There is plenty of under bed storage.
Forward along a corridor, to the 6’5’’ bathroom,
accessed via a bi-fold door, and fitted with shower, Thetford
cassette toilet, basin in vanity unit and mirrored cabinet over.
Forward along the corridor with a useful integral cupboard/robe
to the 7’10’’ walk through galley featuring
stylish wood units, one of which has four drawers, and dark
grey worktops. Usual equipment includes Vanette CG 7000 oven/eye
level grill housed over the Cool zone fridge/freezer, microwave
with shelves over, stainless steel sink unit and separate hob
opposite. Side doors provide additional light and ventilation.
Forward to the 12’6’’lounge with Lshaped seating
converting to a double bed, starboard corner t.v. unit/bookcase
and multi-fuel stove in an attractive tiled surround opposite.
Glazed, steel doors lead, via a storage step, to the well deck
with bow lockers, cratch with front glazed panel and cratch
cover with zipped side panels. With the exception of the vinyl
floor covering in the galley, the whole boat is fitted with
good quality blue carpet (protected) to compliment the oak faced

lines, two wardrobes and two free standing chests of drawers.
Forward to the laminate lined bathroom with shower, basin in

height storage shelves. Forward to the 8’ long U-shaped
galley fitted with modern, beech effect cabinets and contrasting
dark, corian style work tops. Usual equipment including Vanette

recorded 3548 hours and drives through a PRM gearbox. The 7’6’’
cruiser stern is fitted with a rear safety guard rail incorporating
a padded bench seat and the deck area is covered in waterproof
Flotex carpet which in turn is protected by the tonneau cover.
A side door leads, via steps, to the aft bedroom with fixed
double, under bed storage, deep robe and further cupboard housing
control panels adjacent to the neatly installed Alde Comfort
central heating boiler feeding the radiators throughout the
boat. Forward, along a short corridor, to the bathroom with
shower, basin in long vanity unit incorporating cupboard and
shelves, Thetford cassette toilet with spare and Paloma gas
water heater. Wall mounted cabinet. Forward to the compact walk
through galley with Vanette SL oven/grill, separate hob and
LEC shoreline fridge/freezer. Forward to the carpeted lounge
area with two swivel armchairs, provision for small or larger
dining tables (supplied), 240v colour t.v. on corner tv/display
unit with .leaded style glazed doors and full height corner
robe opposite. The centrally mounted multifuel stove was removed
when upgrading to central heating but a new one could be installed
without difficulty.The front glazed, hardwood doors lead, via
storage steps, to the foredeck boasting two fixed lockers with
pads and two further lockers. Again, this area is covered in
Flotex and protected by a waterproof cover with clear plastic
panel. The gas locker is situated on the stern deck. The interior
is finished in light wood panels to the deck head, expensive
horizontal cladding to the upper cabin sides and red/brown carpet
below the gunwhale linking nicely to the floor giving a warm
homely feel. For the technical there is a 360w inverter, battery
management system, 240v shoreline connection and even an alarm!
(not tested). The vendors are now giving up narrowboating and
the subsequent comprehensive inventory includes matching clock
& barometer,spare propeller, and anchor with chain.

A multi fuel stove sits in the starboard corner with a corner
TV unit in the opposite corner. A storage step leads, via hardwood,
half glazed doors, to the 3ft 6in well deck fitted with bow
lockers and weather protected by a cratch and cover with plastic
‘glazed’ panels and zip out panels. The interior
has very recently been fitted with new dark red carpet to provide
a warm and cozy feel. A 25 amp battery charger is fitted and
the engine was serviced in March 2010.

Description: A real cool craft!.It is unusual to find a sailaway
already painted and just needing the fit out. Built by Alken
Engineering in 2007 and fitted with a Beta 38 diesel engine
driving through a PRM 120 gearbox. She is fitted with Caldwell
top hopper windows finished with privacy film giving a tinted
effect. A pair of side doors are fitted to starboard side. Spray
foam insulated, bettened and floored in 20mm ply she is now
ready for final fit out. The original plan was to have the craft
completed and moored ready for the London olympics but the unfortunate
ill health of the owner has necessitated the reluctant sale.
